Hey there! We’re Anna & Brian — the faces behind The Old Fashioned Photo Bus

If you told us a few years ago that we’d be running a wedding photo booth out of a vintage VW bus, we probably wouldn’t have believed you — but here we are, and we absolutely love it.

​

We found our bus (yep, the one you see in all the photos!) on Facebook Marketplace in 2023. It was one of those “we have to do this” moments, and with a lot of love, late nights, and a little engineering magic (thanks, Brian!), we turned her into the Old Fashioned Photo Bus. Now we get to travel around Wisconsin, show up to the best parties, and watch people make the most joyful memories from the back of our bus.

We’ve been married since 2022, and one of our favorite memories from our own wedding was flipping through our photo booth guest book the next morning. The day itself flew by in such a blur, but seeing all the silly, sweet, and hilarious photos from our guests let us experience so many moments we missed. That’s part of why we love what we do — a photo booth captures the candid, real joy that often happens in the background.

When we’re not busy with weddings and events, you’ll probably find us traveling — Iceland, Costa Rica, and most recently Peru are a few of our favorite spots. Our music taste is all over the place (Anna’s got Taylor Swift on repeat, Brian’s loyal to Turnpike Troubadours), and our hobbies are just as varied — Brian’s an ultramarathoner, while Anna prefers relaxing with The Great British Bake Off and a cozy blanket.

The best part of running The Old Fashioned Photo Bus? Watching people let loose, have fun, and create something they’ll want to look back on forever. Whether it's a wedding, backyard bash, or corporate event, we’re here to help make it unforgettable — one photo strip at a time.
