Can the Old Fashioned Photo Bus be brought inside my venue?

Accepted Answer

You bet it can! If you're thinking about bringing the bus indoors, just give us a heads-up so we can walk through the logistics with you. We’ll need a minimum clearance of 76" wide and 76" tall to safely drive the bus inside. Be sure to measure from the actual opening of the door (not just the frame). If the doorway is a little smaller than that, let us know—we’re happy to explore other creative options with you.

How much space does the photo bus need?

To set up comfortably, we typically need about 18 feet long by 10 feet wide. The trunk is where we keep all the props (and trust us, you’ll want space to play dress-up), and we also style the front of the bus with our signature vintage decor. It’s all part of the fun!

Does the Old Fashioned Photo Bus travel?

Absolutely! We’re based in Wisconsin, but we love a good road trip. For events more than 30 miles from where the bus is stored, we transport it safely on a trailer—this helps us avoid any surprises that can come with driving a vintage vehicle and ensures we arrive on time and ready to roll. If you're unsure whether we travel to your area, just ask—we’ll do our best to make it work!

Who runs the photo booth during my event?

You’ll have at least one of our friendly, experienced team members onsite during your event to make sure everything runs smoothly. They’ll help guests pick out props, keep the line moving, and answer any questions along the way. Basically, they’re there to bring the good vibes.

Do the pictures print on-site?

Accepted Answer

They sure do! All of our packages include unlimited on-site prints, so your guests can take home their photo strips right away. Our printer automatically prints two copies per session, but guests can choose to print up to eight copies if they’d like extras. After your event, we’ll also send you a USB loaded with all the individual photos and photo strips—perfect for reliving the fun anytime!

Will I get all the photos from my event?

Of course! After your event, we’ll mail you a USB with all the individual photos and photo strips—everything your guests captured throughout the night.

If you’re booking us for a wedding, we also include a guest book where your friends and family can place their photo strips and leave you sweet (and sometimes silly) messages. It’s one of our favorite keepsakes and a great way to relive all the laughter and love from your big day.

What is an audio guest book?

Our audio guest book is a vintage-style rotary phone that lets your guests leave you heartfelt (or hilarious!) voice messages during your event. Instead of writing in a book, they pick up the phone, hear your custom greeting, and leave a message you’ll get to keep forever.

How does it work?
It’s super simple! Guests pick up the phone, listen to a short pre-recorded message from you, and then leave their own after the beep. When they hang up, the recording saves automatically. After the event, we’ll compile all of the messages and send them to you on a USB to keep and treasure.
