A Citrus-Inspired Styled Shoot at The View at South Bay

This styled shoot at The View at South Bay was everything we love about summer weddings in Wisconsin. Bright yellows, warm oranges, and fresh citrus details came together to create a look that felt vibrant, playful, and effortlessly elevated.

Planned and styled by Natural Charm Weddings and Events, the entire shoot was full of thoughtful details that made the color palette really come to life. From the bold florals by Stock Peddler to the layered textures and decor from The Haven Collective, every element felt cohesive without being overdone.

The lakeside setting at The View at South Bay added the perfect backdrop, giving the bright citrus tones a soft, natural balance. It is one of those venues that works beautifully with both bold and romantic design styles.

Captured by Makayla Mashlan Photography and filmed by Anchored North Films, every detail from the day feels light, fresh, and full of movement. The beauty team, including Katie Stegeman Beauty and 715 Beautify, created a look that complemented the bright, summery aesthetic while still feeling timeless.

The fashion pulled everything together, featuring a gown from Elaine’s Wedding & Event Center and formalwear from Dubois Formalwear. Stationery from Heart of Wisco Art Studio added even more personality.

One of the most unique touches was the live painting by Brushstrokes & Bubbly, capturing the moment in a way that felt both interactive and meaningful.

And of course, we brought the Old Fashioned Photo Bus along for the day. Our VW photo booth fit right in with the citrus theme, adding a fun, nostalgic element that tied everything together and made the whole setup feel even more inviting.
